Class of 2024
Emily
Emily joined RowLA development team in 2018, but within six months due to her tenacity and drive moved to Level 3 where she competed regularly for RowLA. Emily’s leadership skills shone brightly as she served as co-captain for two years, making her an invaluable and
hardworking team member.
Emily graduated from Santa Monica High School and is heading off to California State University, Sacramento where she intends to major in Business. She plans on continuing rowing and will bring all of her skills with her to this Division 1 rowing team. We are confident she will achieve as much success there as she did with RowLA! Sacramento is lucky to have Emily.
Massey
Massey attended one of our summer camps in 2019 and, unable to get rowing out of her mind, joined RowLA’s competitive team in 2020. Massey is a great athlete and strived for excellence which led her to be an asset in the boat. Beyond her individual successes, she has played a role in securing numerous victories for her teammates.
A graduate of Palisades Charter High School, Massey will be continuing her rowing with University of Portland, a Division 1 school, while majoring in Business. We are confident she will be an asset to their team and we look forward to hearing all about her next accomplishments.
Giulia
Giulia came to RowlA through a summer camp in 2021 and started competing in regattas for the team in 2023. Serving as co-captain for the last season, she played a key role in leading her team to many victories. Giulia has been instrumental in capturing the memories of the season with her amazing short movies.
Giulia graduated from Girls Academic Leadership Academy and is off to Paris to study art at L’Ecole Intuit Lab. Although rowing is not offered at the school she is hoping to find a club nearby so she can continue her passion for the sport she loves. We can’t wait to see where her art will take her.
Trinity
Trinity joined RowLA in 2022 and advanced to Level 3 for the 2023-2024 season. She quickly found her seat in the boat and became a valuable member of the team. Her determination and drive to improve were evident in every practice.
A graduate of Girls Academic Leadership Academy, Trinity is heading to University of California, Santa Barbara. Although the school only has a club rowing team, she remains eager to continue her involvement in the sport.
